Chatillon® GF-1
Vice-Action Tensile Grip
This general purpose, vice-action grip features jaws which are manually tightened to secure the sample. The grips will hold samples up to 0.5-inches (12 mm) thick and with widths up to 1.25-inches (30 mm). A ball socket mounting screw on the upper grip helps ensure axial alignment. Grips have hardened steel serrated faces.

Used for tensile testing on small components, wire, thread, cord, miniature parts, etc.
