Chatillon® FG/BA
Ball Probes
Ball probes are ideal for applying a uniform compressive force to a sample. Ball probes are invaluable for performing a wide variety of texture analysis tests, or tests where a uniform load needs to be applied to a sample in order to determine compressive strength. They are ideal for testing the hardness, firmness or ripeness of fruits and vegetables and confectionary products. Ball probes are available in both imperial and metric diameters. These probes have an M6 male thread.
