Dual Function Digital Tachometer

The AMETEK Model 1726 Hand-held Digital Tachometer is a dual function instrument used for contact and non-contact measurement of rotational and linear motions. With an accuracy of +0.025% of indicated reading + LSD, the Model 1726 is ideal for production, engineering, inspection, quality control and maintenance applications. The optical, photoelectric transducer operates up to a 12-inches (30.5cm) distance.

The Model 1726 is compact and lightweight. It may be easily operated using one hand. The unit’s rugged, impact-resistant housing withstands industrial usage and provides years of dependable operation. The battery-operated unit comes complete with a set of interchangeable accessories, 9V battery and carrying case.

The Model 1726 features a large, easy-to-read LCD display that is adjustable for different viewing angles. Measurements are displayed in 8-characters with floating point decimal. Measurements are calculated based on seconds, minutes and hours.
