Strobette^® Stroboscope/Tachometer

The STROBETTE® Model 1000 Stroboscope/Tachometer combines a versatile stroboscope with an analog tachometer. This lightweight, hand-held unit is ideal for engineers, technicians and inspectors. Typical applications include production, maintenance, quality control, and service.

The Model 1000 stroboscope optically stops the motion of an object, while the tachometer instantaneously reads its speed. When using stroboscopic light, a device will appear to be moving slowly when the flash rate is “off tune” compared to the repetition rate of the motion.

The Model 1000 features an internal U-shaped lamp with a flash duration of 70 – 100 microseconds. The reflector beam angle is 80-degrees. The flash rate is adjustable using a dial from 200 to 6000 flasher per minute. Accuracy is +3.0% FS.
